The world is dying because of the Church?

At every heroes acre – or heroes cemetery, are the graves of unsung heroes who died on the battlefield. Serving their country regardless of whether they received accolades and honours. In the  kingdom of heaven – we do not die, neither are there cemeteries for those who have attained immortality – life eternal. There are unsung heroes of faith – those who go out in season and out of season to preach the gospel.

We all long for change in the world, we all wish our governments would be less corrupt. If only the educational system would be more practical in its approach to equipping students for the marketplace alas change will not come if the Church continues to play a passive role – a reactionary role.

Ephesians 1: 23 “The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.”

The world out there is dying because the Church has become peripheral to the world and opted to take the defensive position rather than the offensive – the gospel is offensive to those in the dark. The success of the US Military lies in the fact that they never abandon an offensive mission at all costs. The Church was never made to cower in little corners in dejection but was meant to be agenda setters – ambassadors to demonstrate how God intended the world to be.

“As it is in heaven….” let his will be done here on earth. How then do we bring heaven on earth? It is when the gospel of Sonship is preached – it is when men and women are equipped with the knowledge that liberates them from the ruler of this world who hinders them from exercising their God given rights as sons and heirs. The ruler of this world the devil is no sissy – and his agenda is to steal, kill, destroy and he knows his assignment really well. He is militant and requires a militant response – is it any wonder the church is called to “put on the full amour…”

Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”

We invite you home, to Spirit Revelation Church, to join forces in reaching the world with this gospel of Sonship that will see the true sons of God arise. A move that will bring great revelation knowledge to a world Abba loves. If He could send His only Son – to wage war against death for the world he so loved- what more those whom He loved, in whose hands is sure victory.
