The eagle’s principles for success

1C4A3480The laws of God don’t subscribe to natural laws – they don’t succumb, they out-rule and out-measure natural laws . All you need to do is to hear what God is saying, listen to His instructions.

How many of us love success? Remember that Christianity is the epitome success. Christianity is and should be synonymous with the word “success” and the two words should be interchangeable. The bible says,  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 2:2.

The word prosper in this context means success. God wants you to be successful in every area of your life – financially, maritally, even in your career and academics. By the word of God you will be successful in your life.

The eagle’s principles for success

Success is not entirely a product of miracles, miracles are merely the beginning- a stepping stone to success. God gives us a supernatural platform upon which to develop  success. God gives you a miraculous foundation from which to build success. Don’t follow Pentecostal madness or charismatic foolishness that tries to impose success on us as though it is God who gives us success.

Before Joshua became successful in the calling he had upon his life, there were basic instructions given to him by God.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

You are to constantly speak the word of God. Joshua became successful because he applied the basic principles of success right from the beginning. The instruction was. ” ...let not the book depart from your mouth…” Joshua was to observe to do all that was written therein and his way would become prosperous and good success would follow.

In other words success is worked out. It entails the employment of your mind and you must engage your actions. When the book of the law is in your mouth, you shall mediate upon it and you shall also observe to do as it says. Until we observe God’s word and his principles we will keep waiting on success to come. Some of you don’t know that God is in fact waiting for you to be successful and yet many are waiting on God.

An eagle is keen observer , it is a distinctive bird and in Isaiah 40:31, the height of success is akin to the success of an eagle.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”

The flight of an eagle is unlike any other ordinary bird – it does not hang around where other birds. On the other hand, birds like chickens are in abundance – they are everywhere. They are all over the place – no focus – no direction and every little storm frightens them. The eagle does not behave like any other bird – it soars at heights no other bird soars and storms are never a deterrent – they ride on the wings of the storm.

Look out for the “7 principles for success” as we conclude the teaching on living lives that are whole. We learn how Biblical principles bring financial freedom and great liberation in all spheres of life. God desires that our lives move the church from being dependent on the government but rather as trendsetters in the market place. To get Part 1 of the “The eagle’s principles for success” please email
